Recently, Bretton Parish Council were advised that Refuse Bins could not get emptied in Adderley, North Bretton, due to vehicle obstruction.
If you wish your bins to be emptied, please ensure that you park SMARTLY and not on double yellow lines or bends, obstructing the accessibility for the Refuse Trucks (26 tons and almost 30 feet long) to maneuverer safely down your street/ area.
If this happens and their access is impeded, your bins will not be emptied, and the trucks will not return.
Therefore, please be considerate of others when parking your vehicles. THINK AND PARK SMARTLY.
It includes access to Emergency Services as they do a vital job, potentially saving someone’s life.
