Today Bretton Parish Council received the statement below from Peterborough City Council regarding the works to relocate the Basketball Court and Youth Shelter at Heltwate.
Further to your email to confirm, we are thankfully hoping to be able to commence the first stage of works in the first week of February, which will involve the demolition & removal of all the old paddling pool infrastructure (including the main electric supply within the old pump house which has now been discovered to still have a live feed). In the intervening time, we hope to be able to award the contract for the re-provision.
If there is any change to the above, I will come back to you, but hopefully, you should see all the area being harris fenced off in the first week of February.
