Update on relocation of the Basketball and Youth Shelter to the old paddling pool site in North Bretton

Update from Peterborough City Council

We are very pleased to have been able to complete the facility (including the re-conditioned Youth Shelter & removal of the old Paddling Pool infrastructure) to be able to open to use the first week of August as previously promised.

The only aspect to complete however & to confirm on is that a bin will be provided a High Security 180 litre bin will be installed on an extra thick concrete base to assist against any potential ASB.

As you will see from the first image below we have carried out Grass seeding around the facility & due to the wetness of the Summer we are experiencing this has come through quite well. Our contractor is programmed in to carry out a further stone pick on the area next week & we will review with a joint site inspection of the facility in mid-September to see if further seeding is required & also to review all the elements that have been delivered.

Also, just to say we did get quite a lot of complimentary comments regarding the Mass Bulb planting that we delivered on the POS here as previously detailed (please see further images below):

Finally to Apologise once again for the time taken to deliver this facility.
