Step into summer with 70 years of Sense
To mark our 70th anniversary, we are hosting a series of inclusive active events. From Sensory Walks in Liverpool, to bowling in Stockport and lively outdoor events in Bristol & Rotherham, there’s something for everyone.
70th-themed discos are lighting up Louth, Wakefield, and Birmingham, while our Active Picnic in London brings together movement and sensory experiences with yoga, dance, and sensory stories. It’s a celebration of our past, present, and the incredible people who shape our future.
Did you know, we’re partnering with Cerebra’s Relay Your Way challenge as they travel across the UK? The relay baton will pass through several of our 70th summer events, allowing disabled people with complex needs to be involved and carry the baton for a parts of it’s journey.

Students rise to the challenge
Our amazing students from Sense College Bedford are taking fundraising to new heights!
To celebrate Sense’s 70th year, these incredible young people climbed over the iconic O2 Arena to raise vital funds for the Bedford college. So far, they have raised an incredible £910, with the total raising every day!

Coaches: Learn how to adapt traditional sport activities
Sensory sport provides meaningful opportunities for disabled people with complex needs to be active. By simplifying sports like football, tennis and snooker we are able to build accessible activities that can be tailored to meet individual needs and abilities.
We hold Introduction to Sensory Sport workshops on Zoom, four times a year. For more details on the workshop, click here.
Upcoming workshop dates:
