Police and Crime Commissioner Darryl Preston is hosting a free webinar on Friday 29th September at 12:30 for small and medium sized enterprises to help them protect their data assets and productivity against the ever-present threat posed by cyber criminals.
The webinar will focus on crime prevention tactics and includes presentations from key speakers from Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Eastern Cyber Resilience Centre.
Detective Inspector Tom Rowe from Cambridgeshire Constabulary will update attendees on the local picture in relation to cybercrime and how businesses can protect themselves.
Head of Cyber Security and Innovation, Jim Stevenson, from Eastern Cyber Resilience Centre will discuss the implications of a cyberattack for businesses and the simple tools available to reduce vulnerability. The organisation is part of a national network of centres established by the Home Office to help businesses, charities and public sector organisations tackle the rising threat of cyber-attacks.
