Message from PCVS – Funding Opportunities

Afternoon all,

The Ministry of Justice has launched a new £5 million Youth Justice Sport Fund for around 200 grants which will support voluntary and community sector organisations to work with children considered at risk of involvement in crime or violence. Applications are open until Monday 5 December 2022. Click here for more information –https://www.streetgames.org/youth-justice-sport-fund.

Also, The Co-op Foundation has launched its new Future Communities Fund for voluntary organisations that help diverse young people become leaders and activists.

Our working definition of diverse is people who have experience of being marginalised in society due to their race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, socioeconomic status or any other attribute that impacts their inclusion.

Funding of up to £30,000 per year for five years is available now from the first round of the ‘Future Communities Fund’. This innovative fund encourages organisations to share power with young people to create more inclusive, diverse and equitable communities. You can find out more about the fund and re-watch the webinar here. https://www.coopfoundation.org.uk/how-we-fund/future-communities-fund/

If you think you’re eligible and would like to apply, take a look at the Foundation’s first stage application. Feel free to forward to other organisations who might also be interested. Applications will close at 12pm (midday) on Friday 23 December.

Kind Regards
