We have reached the end of another year, and for us here at CKH it was a real milestone year – our 20th anniversary! It gave us a great opportunity to reflect on the changes we have seen and made in that time, and to celebrate with both staff and residents.
We have always tried to respond to the needs of our residents and shaped our services accordingly. This year I was thrilled to launch our new resident engagement framework to ensure we are hearing from even more residents and enabling them to have a real impact on our business.
December is always a time of year I look forward to because it means we get to celebrate the amazing and selfless work of so many of our residents in our annual resident awards. It’s so lovely to be able to give a little back to the amazing people who do so much for their neighbours and the wider community. You can discover more about our fabulous award winners on our Facebook page, where we will be sharing their stories this week.
Although many of the CKH team will be having a well-deserved break over Christmas, many of our services will still be open for our residents. As always, our Care, LifeLine and Repairs teams will be working throughout to ensure everyone has a safe and healthy Christmas. Residents can also pop into Customer Central where our team will be on hand between Christmas and the New Year to answer any queries, and our Income Management team will be on the phone and live chat between 9am and 5pm on Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 December.
All the details of our opening hours and how to get in touch are listed on our website.
And so, as the year ends and we look forward to 2025 I want to take this opportunity to wish you all the very happiest Christmas. As always, I look forward to hearing from you and working with you next year. Don’t forget to follow us on our Facebook and Instagram channels, to keep up to date with all our services and events. And you can find out all about the support we offer our residents and communities on our website.
