I work for Kidney Research UK as part of the Community and Events team covering the Peterborough and surrounding areas. I am looking to raise the awareness around kidney disease and the impact that it has upon those living this with intrusive illness.

Kidney disease is a disease that ruins and destroys lives. It must be stopped.
Over the past 60 years, our research has made an impact, Bit kidney failure is rising, as are the factors contributing to it , such as diabetes and obesity. Today, we are more essential than ever.
Over 3 million people in the UK are living with the severe stages of kidney disease, treatments are gruelling and currently there is no cure. Only research will end this, and nobody can do it but us, by offering kidney patients and their families hope for the future. We’re taking it on. But we can’t do it without you.
To raise vital funds and to raise awareness within Peterborough and surrounding area, we will also be holding a 5-mile circular walk the Peterborough Cathedral Winter Walk, starting, and finishing at the historic Peterborough Cathedral. As well as taking in the scenic surrounding of Nene Park. To raise funds to support the vital research currently being carried out.
