**Important Notice Regarding Bulky Waste Service on Saturday, 21st March 2026**

Heltwate School, an important part of our community, is undergoing maintenance that affects the bulky waste service scheduled for that location on Saturday, 21st March 2026, from 2:15 PM to 3:00 PM.

As a result, Bretton Parish Council has decided to suspend the bulky waste collection at the Heltwate site. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, but your safety is our top priority.

To address this situation, the Parish Council has arranged with Aragon to extend their service hours at the Pyramid site to ensure that waste collection continues without interruption.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to provide the best possible solution for our community.

BULKY WASTE INFORMATION:

This service offers a convenient way for individuals to declutter their homes or garages by disposing of unwanted items safely and responsibly. However, it’s essential to be aware of the prohibited items, such as Ash, Soil, Bricks, Rubble, Stone, Gravel, Concrete, Car Parts, Engine Oil & Parts, Sand or Paint and UPVC products, which cannot be accepted.

Residents must accompany their discarded items to any of the six designated sites across Bretton at the allotted time slots and remain until they have been correctly disposed of. Leaving Bulky Items unattended will be deemed illegal fly-tipping and will result in the prosecution of a payable fine.

Therefore, we urge you to follow and comply with the Bulky Waste Process as stated above, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for all.

Thank you,
Bretton Parish Council
