Dear Community Members,
A defibrillator is an essential emergency device that administers an electrical shock to the heart. This intervention is critical in restoring normal heart function when an individual is experiencing cardiac arrest and their heart has ceased to beat.
This device may also be referred to as a defib, a public access defibrillator (PAD), or an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Bretton Parish Council wishes to inform you that we have successfully acquired the defibrillator located outside the Pyramid Community Centre. Furthermore, we have obtained all necessary components to restore the unit to full operational status for emergency use. Notification has been provided to all relevant emergency services.
