Cars stopped in Peterborough for various reasons.

This week alone, we have responded to a number of incidents regarding vehicles, including:

🚗Stopping various vehicles for light defects – one car stopped with no rear brake lights at all!

🚗We noticed a car in St Johns Road, Fletton, which had five people in and no one was wearing a seatbelt. After stopping the car, we found that a three-year-old was unrestrained in the rear of the car and the driver didn’t have a valid UK driving licence or insurance. The car has been seized and the driver reported for three offences.

🚗We dealt with a collision in Huntley Grove, Eastfield, because of flooding around Central Park and turned out the water main had fractured due to heavy rain! Anglian Water has been made aware.

🚗We stopped a vehicle in Eastfield and reminded the driver that a registration plate is needed on the back of the car too!

It is important that you make sure your car is up to standard and when driving, please make sure you are driving to the conditions of the road to stay safe!
