 Workshop – The Mental Capacity Act – an overview for parents/carers

This session is tailored for parents and carers who want to understand more about this important legislation. Join us to learn about the key principles, how it may affect you and your loved ones, and what rights and responsibilities you have under the act.

 Hubs –

 Caring Together hosts two hubs each month – an online hub on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10-11.30. an opportunity to meet other parents who are caring for a teenager or an adult with any additional/support needs.  Our in-person hub is the 4th Thursday each month (term time only) 10.30-12.30 at the David Raynor Centre at Scottsdales Garden Centre in Great Shelford.  The next session on March 27th is focussing on transition planning for young people with a talk from Martine Simpson-Thomas and our carer advisors will be on hand to talk about the support available for parents/carers.
