It was my first time attending the festival, and I was amazed by its diversity. There were eclectic stalls to peruse, where I purchased drinks and food at reasonable prices.
I enjoyed the performances on stage, from a ukulele soloist to three young boys rapping and dance groups of all styles and backgrounds.
I was impressed by the karate group, and even though I am not a dog lover due to a personal incident when I was young, I enjoyed watching the dog show next to the stage. The owners did a great job of controlling their dogs, and it was nice to relax and admire them from a distance. I also mentioned this to a few Parish Councillors wearing orange tops. It was a lovely day.
I want to express my gratitude to the car park attendants who guided us in and out and the vigilant festival staff who reacted quickly when needed.
The DJ’s music, which took me back to my youthful days, added a special touch to the event.
Thank you all for organising such a fun day out. I’m already looking forward to attending next year’s festival with a few more friends. The anticipation is real!
