The Bretton Bulky Waste Service is a valuable and convenient resource that allows residents to dispose of unwanted items sensibly and responsibly. It is a collective effort to keep the streets of Bretton clean and free from clutter.
We urge residents to use this service correctly and with pride. Please note that certain items such as Ash, Soil, Bricks, Rubble, Stone, Gravel, Concrete, Car Parts, Sand, and UPVC products or Paint cannot be accepted.
As responsible residents, you can take your rubbish to any of the six designated sites across Bretton and receive assistance with disposing of it properly. We would like to remind you that fly-tipping is punishable by law, and leaving your items on the side for others to take care of is considered fly-tipping.
Unfortunately, there have been instances where a significant amount of rubbish was left at one of the sites, which is unacceptable. Our Parish Councillors and volunteers dedicate their time to helping residents dispose of their waste correctly, and it is a shame that this valuable service is being misused.
Therefore, we urge you to take pride in where you live, use the Bretton Bulky Waste Service correctly, and DON’T FLYTIP.
Thank you for your cooperation. Bretton Parish Council
