**Important Information About the Bulky Waste Service**

Bretton Parish Council values the Bulky Waste Service as an essential resource for residents to dispose of large items responsibly. We appreciate your continued use of this service. To meet the rising demand, the Council is committed to improving efficiency for both residents and our crew.

Since the last session on Saturday, May 16, 2026, Peterborough City Council / Aragon has made slight adjustments to the timings at some sites, including the hours for the Aragon crew to empty their vehicles and take breaks. These changes will take effect starting with the bulky waste session scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Please note that, in addition to the adjusted site timings, some items have been added to the prohibited list. These include the following:

General Household Waste: This should be disposed of in your black bins, as provided by Local Authorities.

Recycling Waste: This should be placed in your green bins, as provided by Local Authorities.

Garden Waste: This should go in your brown bins, which are chargeable and managed by Peterborough City Council.

To stay informed, please check the Parish Council website for the most current bulky waste poster and details. You will also find a copy of the revised site timings and dates in the June 2026 edition of the Bretton Gazette, ensuring you have the latest information.

Many thanks
