Good afternoon,
Would you like to improve your engagement with fathers and male carers? The Targeted Support Team are pleased to offer a dedicated Engaging Fathers training session with The Fatherhood Institute to early years settings on Monday 9th February, 6 – 8:30pm. The training is free of charge and open to all professionals in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.
What we think about fathers (and why we might think that)
The role of the father, and what we understand about them, sits within complex, and often competing frameworks and discourses about gender equality, public policy, masculinity and social and cultural norms. This seminar will unpick what shapes our beliefs and assumptions about fatherhood and considers how we can address them in light of the evidence about what fathers do and the impacts they have.
