Infant Feeding Awareness Training NEW DATES AVAILABLE

Good morning,

We are so pleased that more than 50 people, over 6 training sessions have now completed our Infant Feeding Awareness Training.

The training, which has been funded as part of the Family Hubs, designed to widen the knowledge around Infant Feeding for the wider workforce has been well received by those who have attended, here is what some of the delegates had to say about it:

The Learning Outcomes for this training will be:

  •  Explore views on infant feeding
  •  Identify common barriers to breastfeeding in the UK
  •  State evidence-based benefits of breastfeeding for physical and emotional health
  •  State the key differences between breastmilk and formula.
  •  Describe the impact of responsive and loving relationships on well-being
  •  Apply the WHO code within in their staff role
  •  Refer and signpost appropriately so families can access infant feeding support and information
  •  Recognise person centered communication skills.

We are pleased to be able to let you know that we now have new dates available, please could those who wish to attend use the booking form to register for a space. All training is on MS Teams and attendees will receive the link a week prior to the training. Please share with your teams and anyone you think relevant to attend the training.
