Further to my last email & as promised, I wish to give you an update.
Unfortunately, EDF energy are experiencing delays due to staff shortages so have so far been unable to commit to a time when they are able to disconnect the power to the old pump house. The Contractor appointed to carry out the demolition has therefore not commenced fencing off of the area……& due to the Contractor having worked in the Bretton Area before (& suffered substantial ASB with previous Harris fenced off areas) we have worked with them & agreed to delay the fencing off until after the school half term week.
As an aside we are hopefully of being able to award the contract for the re-provision by the end of this week.
