Message from the CareNetwork – Wellbeing Service

Our well-being staff and trained volunteers provide a range of one-to-one support that enhances well-being and helps boosts confidence and independence.

Feedback shows that our input can enable you to understand and improve how you are feeling. We can also help you connect with your community and to access other opportunities and support.

As well as one-to-one staff support for wellbeing over an agreed number of sessions, we also offer a Check and Chat service, with a friendly volunteer phoning you for a regular catch-up over a few weeks.

We also have a team of Trusted Friend volunteers who can offer some short-term support to help you get back out and about confidently in your community. The volunteer can accompany you for a walk in the park or perhaps come with you the first time you access a local group or activity.

We all have periods where our mood can take a dip, and we feel low, or times when we feel stressed and worried or isolated and lonely, why not call us to see how we might be able to help you.

Our team also helps people to develop or sustain well-being groups in their communities with advice and small grants of up to £300. We recognise that most groups who come together for an activity or social contact improve wellbeing. Our simple application process makes applying for a grant accessible to communities across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
