Help us develop our early help offer for local people

Hello,

We are inviting members of the community to join us in shaping our early help services to better meet the needs of local people. This is your opportunity to make a real difference by sharing your experiences, insights, and ideas. Together, we can create a service that works for everyone.

About the session
Our early help services aim to provide timely and effective support for individuals and families in our community. To ensure these services are meaningful and accessible, we want to collaborate with local people who can bring their unique perspectives to the discussion.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking up to 10 participants who:

•Have experience of accessing support services (either directly or indirectly).
•Are passionate about improving local services.
•Are willing to share their thoughts, feedback, and suggestions in a group setting.
To ensure a well-rounded group that reflects the diversity of our community, we will prioritise participants based on:
•A variety of backgrounds and experiences: We want to hear from people with different perspectives, including those with lived experience of challenges such as parenting, mental health, financial difficulties, or other areas that early help services address.
•Relevant lived experience: Those who can provide meaningful insights into how services can be improved.

What You’ll Do

Participants will take part in a 1 hour facilitated session in which we will:

1. Discuss your experiences with early help services.
2. Explore what works well and what could be improved.
3. Discuss ideas for a better, more effective early help offer.
We may schedule a follow up session to discuss these elements further, depending on interest.

What You’ll Receive

To thank you for your time and contributions, participants will receive a £20 thank-you voucher.

How to Get Involved

If you are interested in participating, please contact us by Friday 7th February, via this form: https://forms.office.com/e/8nmcveQnJ6.

If you represent an organisation and know of an individual that would like to be involved but is digitally excluded, please support them to complete the form or pass their details to myself.
The current date that we are looking at for the workshop is Wednesday 12th February from 5.30 – 6.30pm, but this is subject to change based on participant feedback. Details of the workshop will be shared with participants.
